Hey guys,
Nothing particularly special to report this time around (aka why I didn't write yesterday). Yesterday I had class pretty much all day, and then volleyball until late (10pm or so). So that was my day. Busy but not especially scottish or adventurous.
Today was intended to be a sight seeing/ shopping kind of day, and that was all set to work out until I ordered a veggie burger at lunch, and meticulously made sure I got a lettuce bun instead of a glutin-y one, but completely overlooked the burger itself. Which had flour. Which made me sick. Not too bad, though. One of the girls I was with had the foresight to suggest I stop and ask a pharmacist what to do. So, with anti-cramp medication I was alright. Ended up just hanging out with people the rest of the day, which was lovely. The people here are very friendly and sweet. People are starting to plan weekend trips, so that's very exciting!
Tomorrow we're planning to explore Glasgow some more, and potentially see some of the bigger sights. Not sure which, just yet. So, that's that.
I've got a couple of pictures from Ashton Lane, the one which Diagon Alley is based off of. Oh, and factoid: A person from New Zealand is called a Kiwi, and a jumper is a sweater without a zipper up the front. Actually I could be entirely wrong about that last one, I got confused.
Pooh quote: "An Ambush is a sort of surprise. So is a gorse-bush sometimes."
Much love,
Erin
